5 favourite things/items?

Travel, Wine, Tattoos, food (mainly sweet), and heels (except I never get to wear them anymore apart for the occasionally night out)

What are you most passionate about?

I’m most passionate about keeping my family happy and healthy with a drama free lifestyle and raising our children up to be strong, respectful, kind and loyal through the way we live our lives.

Do you have any hobbies/things you do in your downtime?

We spend time as a family in our downtime.

How did becoming a mother change you?

I found a love I never knew I could feel. I had to learn how to be patient and I am still learning how to do this each and everyday. My boys test me constantly, keep me on my toes and are extremely boisterous and loud but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love their passion for life and their unbreakable bond.

What’s the best part about being a mother?

The best part about being a mother is spending time with my children as they grow up. Loving them and knowing I am loved beyond measure by these little humans. In their minds I can do no wrong and when I loose my cool with them, they still love me none the less. All the cuddles and kisses far outway the hard days and I am so blessed and privileged to have become a Mother.

Naming your children is always so difficult (or maybe it was just me!) Was it easy to pick your child’s name and why did choose it?

It was quite easy for my Husband and I to pick our boys names. I always wanted our children’s names to be different but not too different. Both boy’s names were in our baby name book and surprisingly both our boy’s names could be last names. Jefferson means “Son of a peaceful man” and when choosing my 2nd sons name my brother’s friend last name is Forbes and that was his nickname for her. I liked it as a first name and looked up the meaning of it and liked it. Forbes means “Prosperous and Head strong”. Pretty easy for us.

Has your personal style changed since becoming mother? If so how?

Yes definitely!!! I have chosen the more practical side of style. My hair always seems to be up in a messy bun and I no longer wear high heels unless on date night. Haha

What has been the most memorable moment for you in motherhood so far?

Seeing my boy’s friendship blossom and seeing their bond become unbreakable. Watching Jefferson nurture and teach Forbes how to do things, it seriously warms my heart watching them interact.

What are some baby essentials every new mother needs?

Wine, wine and more wine. Haha but seriously

What are some of your favourite shops/websites for baby wear?

We mainly buy our clothes in America when my parents go over once a year. But for practical clothes we shop at target and we always love cotton on kids.

What is the one thing you want to teach your children?

To be loyal and kind to anyone they come in contact with. To believe that they can do anything they put their minds to but not to take life too seriously. Love with all their hearts and to just live life with no regrets. Believe in the greater good!

Have any advice for newly mothers/mothers to be?

Just soak it all in especially the newborn stage. Don’t rush the cuddles or the moments your children are trying to talk to you or explain something to you. Enjoy the little things.
